FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining patient blood to determine microbe antigen quantity bound by blood cells using polarography method in indirect way. The results are compared to control study reference values taking into account copper ion wave reduction degree caused by the given antigen. Solution of the antigen under study is added to formed blood elements and sodium chloride mixture taken in 1:1 volume proportion. The so produced mixture is hold during 3-5 min at 35-37.5 C and then centrifuged. Polarogram is built for Cu++ ion microconcentration in CaCl2 solution after adding supernatant liquid and comparison to some reference polarogram is carried out. EFFECT: high accuracy in diagnosing acute virus and microbial infections in 25-30 min from the beginning of the patient examination. 5 dwg
