FIELD: medicine, in particular, operations on internal organs. SUBSTANCE: surgical clamp has two blades with operating jaws positioned at their ends. Jaws are joined to each other but are capable of separation. Provision is made for axial hinge coupling the blades, opening spring mounted between blades and cylindrical spring positioned on external surface of blades. One end of cylindrical spring is secured on blade rigidly. Instrument for operation with surgical clamp has tubular case which operating end carries holder. Control members are arranged on opposite end of case. Rod is mounted in case for longitudinal motion. Holder is made as a plate with U-shaped catch attached to its end. Control members have handle connected rigidly to rod. Pusher and spring are mounted on one axle in handle body for longitudinal motion. Bush with lever secured at tubular case end is installed for interaction with pusher. As a result, clamping force exerted on organs during application of clamp increases.
