FIELD: transport engineering; brake systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device are designed for calculating the duration of pressure reduction signal. Simultaneously acceleration of wheel (or repeated acceleration of wheel) and wheel slipping at unstable area are determined and their interrelation with preset values is found. Calculation of time of pressure reduction for new control cycle is done so that repeated acceleration of wheel which follows said pressure reduction corresponds to preliminarily calculated value. Duration of signal is corrected to decrease pressure modulation amplitude. EFFECT: improved control of brake system. 8 cl, 1 dwg
