FIELD: oil processing. SUBSTANCE: products of reforming are hydrogenated on platinum-containing mono-, bi- or polymetallic catalyst. The process takes place in the presence of hydrogen at high temperature and pressure. Periodically, during interregeneration period and before regeneration catalyst is treated by current of fluid hydrocarbons, the process may be carried out in the presence of hydrogen, at 20-180 C and at the pressure. Monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, or their mixture, or catalyzate of reforming, or benzine fractions affected by hydropurification are used as said hydrocarbons. Thus original activity of catalyst in interregeneration period is reduced. After regeneration degree of hydrogenation of olefins is decreased to 4 %. EFFECT: increased service time of catalyst. 2 cl, 2 tbl
