FIELD: magnetohydrodynamic granulators designed for production of metal granules by monodispersion of liquid metal streams of molten metal. SUBSTANCE: granulator has source of permanent magnetic field, dispersion chamber located between poles of magnetic field source and made in the form of rectangular parallelepiped whose perforated walls are parallel to magnetic flux, system for conduction supply of alternating current to molten metal in dispersion chamber and direct current source. Located in perforated walls of dispersion chamber above holes are electrodes connected with DC source.
