FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely production of metallic pellets of magnesium and its alloys. SUBSTANCE: pelletizer includes source of permanent magnetic field, dispersion chamber arranged between poles of magnetic field source and being in the form of rectangular parallelepiped whose perforated walls are parallel relative to magnetic flux; system for conductive supply of alternating electric current to melt metal in dispersion chamber; electrodes placed in perforated walls of dispersion chamber before perforation zone and connected with direct electric current source. Holes of perforated walls have conoidal shape with relation of their length to diameter more than 3. Outlet diameter of said holes is directly proportional to stream emission rate and it is inversely proportional to oscillation frequency of metal pressure in dispersion chamber. Conoidal holes are made in one or two sides of dispersion chamber. Pelletizer allows to make rather small spherical pellets, for example with diameter 0.2-0.8 mm.
