FIELD: welding, in particular, compositions of electrode coatings; may be used in manufacture of electrodes for manual electric-arc welding of low-carbon and low-alloyed steels in any spatial position. SUBSTANCE: coating in the capacity of base and deoxidizer contains titanium product with the following amount of components, wt.%: titanium product, 35-55; metal carbonate, 5-20; ferromanganese, 10-15; mica concentrate, 1721; magnesium hydrosilicate, 2-10; cellulose, 1-3. Besides, the composition may contain iron powder in the amount of 10-15 wt.%. Titanium product is produced by alumothermal processing of ilmenite and contains, wt.%: titanium oxide, 62-64; silicon oxide, 1.5-2; aluminum oxide, 2-6; calcium oxide, 16-18; magnesium oxide, 3-5; iron oxide, 2-3; phosphorus in terms of P2O5, not above 0.002.
