FIELD: heat accumulators; may be used for prestarting heating of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: heat accumulator has body 1, accommodating internal body 2 with heat-accumulating substance. Formed between internal body 2 and external body 1 is isolated hollow 3 with low pressure. Connected to body 1 are pipelines 4 (inlet) and 5 (outlet). Passed through bodies 1 and 2 and isolated hollow 3 are pipelines 6 for heat carriers of charging and discharging of accumulator which are extension of pipelines 4. On the section of isolated hollow 3, pipelines 6 are made in the form of not-mutually connected spirals which do not touch walls 7 and 8 of bodies 1 and 2. Internal body 2 is suspended with respect to external body 1 from these spiral-shaped pipelines 6. Spirals serve simultaneously for reduction of heat losses in course of heat storage due to provision of artificial thermal resistance to transfer of heat to ambient medium, and for damping mechanical vibrations of internal body occurring in movement of automobile. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
