FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: light guide coupling device has tips mounted at ends of light guides. First light guide carries lock screwed on tip. Lock consists of bushing with slide. Slide block is arranged in bushing slot, and circular spring, spring and ring are positioned in recess. Device includes sleeve embracing the lock, slide and carrying the handle coupled rigidly with slide through sleeve slot. Sleeve has ring carrying bayonet ring at its distal end which interacts with attachment elements of other tip which is part of endoscope. It has hollow for slide block and for facility designed to fix lock on endoscope. Slide is driven by handle. EFFECT: enhanced rigidity of construction, more reliable coupling of light guides. 1 dwg
