FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: each phase conductor of switching system (say, L3) arranged along generator lead between generator and power transformer is placed together with first switching device in casing insulated by air gap and separated from other phase conductors. Switching device (three-position disconnecting switch) has at least two switching positions. First one is between generator and system output actuating power transformer; second position is between generator and lead of starter placed outside casing which actuates generator in first open switching position and in second closed one. EFFECT: provision for dispensing with power disconnecting switch for connecting starter to generator. 11 cl, 4 dwg
