FIELD: construction machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to equipment intended for making small amount of building mortar at construction site. Mortar mixer has tipping body which accommodates rotating auger and drive unit. Auger spiral is formed from reinforcing wire of variable cross-section. Flights of auger spiral are rigidly interconnected to each other in longitudinal direction by rods of smooth reinforcing wire which are arranged along generating line of auger. Angle of incline of spiral flights is within 10-45 deg. Ratio of length of body to its radius is within 10:1 - 10: 3. Manual drive of mortar mixer is made in the form of handwheel. Radius of drive handwheel is within 1:1 - 1:3 of auger spiral radius. Aforesaid embodiment of mortar mixer is simple to manufacture and operate. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
