FIELD: transport engineering; vehicles with internal combustion engines; catalyst converter carrying member. SUBSTANCE: member has walls forming many channels. Liquid medium flows through channels. Cellular structure member of definite length is arranged and held in inner and outer tubular housing. Length of tubular housing exceeds length of cellular structure member. Tubular housing is divided at least into three separate sections. First section bears against cellular structure member mainly along some part of its length and projects beyond the edge of member. Length of first section exceeds one third of length of cellular structure member, being preferably equal to half the length, and projects beyond the edge of cellular structure member. Inner tubular housing at first section is connected by brazing with cellular structure member is zone of its inner perimeter. Second section is tapering. Its length is from 2 to 20 mm, preferably 5-10 mm. Third section bears against outer tubular housing. Its length exceeds 10 mm being preferably greater than one third of length of cellular structure member. Third section is placed at a distance of 1-6 mm from cellular structure metal member, being arranged preferably 3-4 mm away from member, and butt joined by welding with outer tubular housing. Third section is provided with circular projection which fits with geometrical closing into slot or cut of outer tubular housing, being welded to housing. Fourth separate section made in form of edging bent outwards at right angle, bears against third section. Fourth section is drawn into flange connection of outer tubular housing and adjacent guide member. At least part of cellular structure member loosely embraced by inner tubular housing is provided with second inner tubular housing. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 12 cl, 2 dwg
