FIELD: soldering, particular, methods of soldering of metal structures; applicable in manufacture of honeycomb structures. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes application of solder to separate sections of metal structure 2,4. Applied to separate sections 5 is adhesive and then powdery solder sticking to adhesive. Adhesive preserves its properties up to temperature of 180 C, preferably, above 200 C so that at heat treatment of structure 2,4, particular, during thermal degreasing, powdery solder is not lost. The offered method is applicable, first of all, in manufacture of bodies of catalyst carries 1 in catalytic converters of internal combustion engines, as such manufacture procedure covers solution of two different problems of joint: joining of member 4 of honeycomb structure with tubular casing 2, and joining of separate layers of metal sheets of honeycomb structure 4 to one another. The invention offers various procedures of application of solder without loss of previously applied powdery solder. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 14 cl, 2 dwg
