FIELD: petroleum exploration. SUBSTANCE: device contains high-frequency (1 MHz) and low-frequency (1 KHz) conduction identifiers, which successively interact with transducer with sampled oil at temperature from 0 to 50 C. Microprocessor receives data on conduction and temperature. Ratio of conduction values is displayed to characterize state of oil.
