FIELD: medicine; may be used in treatment of malignant and denign tumors by methods of photodynamic therapy. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of photosensitizer, low-intensive laser treatment of pathologic focus and registration of reflection coefficients in its center and on the boundary and determination on their bases of the intensity of spectra of photosensitizer fluorescence. With equal intensities in the center and on boundary, boundary intensity exceeding the intensity of photosensitizer florescence spectra in intact area by at least three times, a seance of laser radiation is carried out. Value of reducing difference between the intensities on the boundary and in the intact region is registered continuously up to the moment of its growth again, and used for determination of the end of seance. EFFECT: higher efficiency of photodynamic therapy of tumors with no negative aftereffects such as formation of stable solid edemas and necroses of intact tissues surrounding the tumor.
