METHOD FOR PAVEMENT REPAIR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: highway engineering, in particular, selective repair of defective upper layers of pavement. SUBSTANCE: method involves milling of defective pavement to provide sides with negative inclination angle, grinding scrap, mixing it to binder and hardener agent, filling mix with water, casting and compacting it by vibration under load for 2-5 minutes, keeping without load for 50-60 minutes, finally pavement is loaded by passed transport. Content of mix by weight is: 30-38 % of asphalt macadam, 8.5-10 % of rubber production waste, 12.5-16.5 % of cement binder, 0.6-1.0 % of liquid glass, 3.0-5.0 % of silicon ferroalloy production waste; the rest is water. Negative inclination angle of milled sides is in range of 5-10 degrees. EFFECT: increased speed of pavement repair, keeping required level of service performance and mechanical strength. 2 cl, 2 tbl
