FIELD: recording and estimating interference pattern of X-ray diffraction on crystal lattice. SUBSTANCE: detector has two similar semi-spherical surfaces with space between them filled with working gas; inspected entity can be placed in their common center; detector window is beryllium-coated inner surface that functions as cathode; outer surface functions as anode and at the same time as sensor; it is coated with resistive material facing cathode and has at least three current collectors uniformly arranged along equatorial part of outer semi-spherical surface which rests on glass substrate of anode. Two semi-spheres are electrically insulated and have in their base safety plate with hole for admitting X- rays. EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy and reduced exposure time. 1 dwg
