FIELD: X-ray technology, X-ray radiators intended for detection of flaws in materials and articles. SUBSTANCE: acceleration of electrons emitted by cathode takes place in pulse electric field in internal cavity of SHF resonator. Deceleration X-ray emission occurs with collision of accelerated electrons. Magnetic field formed by electromagnet does not allow electrons emitted from cathode to scatter under action of defocusing SHF field of resonator and focuses them to size of anode. EFFECT: simplified design, diminished dimensions of X-ray radiator without deterioration of its reliability. 2 dwg
