FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method is based on introduction of two auxiliary liquid flows into main liquid flow passing through metal pipeline. These auxiliary flows are introduced through insulated metal tubes provided with holes which allow measurement of difference between full pressure and static pressure of flow. Continuity is determined by value of electric capacitance consisting of that of pipeline and tubes used as electrodes and of liquid flow used as dielectric. EFFECT: identification of medium by value of its dielectric permittivity. 1 dwg
