FIELD: mechanical engineering; repair of angle pieces. SUBSTANCE: in process of surfacing, surface to be repaired in melted by laser beam and filler powder material is delivered to melt zone. In process of surfacing angle piece is translationally displaced. Several beads are applied in turn with overlapping in parallel with longitudinal edge of angle piece. First bead is applied at a distance from longitudinal edge equal to width of bead multiplied by preset overlapping coefficient. Then beads are applied in direction from longitudinal edge of angle piece to vertical side limiting the surface under repair. Finishing bead is applied at longitudinal edge of angle piece after turning of repair surface around longitudinal axis, upwards relative to horizontal plane, through angle whose tangent is equal to ratio of height of welded bead to half of its width. EFFECT: reduced losses of filler powder, enhanced quality of surfacing. 1 tbl, 3 dwg
