FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for gas-powder surfacing and can be used in the manufacture of machine parts and tools. Welded surface of a metal product is exposed to a laser beam. Powdered material is fed into the surfacing zone by means of a transport gas and relative movement of the beam and the article along a predetermined path is carried out. Laser beam is moved perpendicular to the surface of the metal article. In the surfacing zone, four jets of powder are fed from four axisymmetrically located independent nozzles, which are moved together with the laser beam. In this case, the axes of symmetry of the nozzles coincide with the axes of the rectangular coordinate system of the product surface. Volume of the supplied powder is calculated taking into account the angle between the zero position of the instantaneous velocity vector and the position of the nozzle relative to the laser beam.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of surfacing, which is achieved due to the axisymmetric delivery of powder material to the laser radiation zone, which makes it possible to obtain an equally strong defect-free surfacing when moving along any trajectory.
