FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is used for connecting female and male parts at different coefficients of thermal expansion; male part is placed in female part at interference. Thickness of wall of male part is proportional to thickness of wall of female part; proportionally factor is determined from mathematical relationship. Proposed method ensures guaranteed interference of parts at different coefficients of thermal expansion as compared with known methods at temperature fluctuations which are likely to weaken joints.
