SUBSTANCE: blast-furnace tuyere includes water-cooled body with external and internal barrels whose ends are interconnected by flange and nozzle. Surfaces of external and internal barrels and nozzle part are lined with protective material 0.5-2.0 mm thick. Protective material is used in the form of continuous series of solid solutions of aluminum in copper. EFFECT: increased stability of tuyere with respect to chemical wear and reduced labor input when applying protective layer. 3 dwg
