FIELD: radiochemistry. SUBSTANCE: sulfur hexafluoride of natural isotope composition is subjected for separation by method of gaseous centrifugation. Fraction SF6 (content of 33S is 99.3%) is fed to an interaction with elemental iron at 430-630 C at Fe excess 50-100% above stechiometry and residue of SF6 is frozen out. Products of interaction are treated with 18-20% HCl. Evolved H2 and H2S are treated with solution containing K3Fe(CN)6 and K2CO3, hydrogen is utilized and precipitate is filtered off, washed out and dried. Content of 33S in sulfur powder is 99.3%. For preparing 32S, 34S, 36S the corresponding fractions of SF6 are fed to interaction with iron after centrifugation. Enrichment degree is 99%, not less.
