FIELD: gas cleaning of harmful components. SUBSTANCE: absorber tower body including inlet and outlet channels is made integral with the circulation reservoir, attached to whose upper section is the tower. The absorber tower has a selfload-carrying structure and is installed only on the circulation reservoir. At least the highest spraying step in the spray area in the inlet channel incorporates spray pipes furnished with spray nozzles for spraying the absorbing liquid in the direction parallel to the gas flow; and at least the lowest spraying step incorporates spray nozzles for spraying the absorbing liquid in the direction opposite the gas flow. The absorber tower represents a solid structure, in which the upper section of the circulation reservoir forms part of the tower channel, therefore the absorber tower structure is a selfload-carrying one, and moreover, it is simple in design. EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength. 31 cl, 63 dwg, 12 ex
