FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermic treatment of powder-like substances, in part, for calcination of aluminium hydroxide. Wetted aluminium hydroxide is fed in gas conduit and subjected for thermic treatment under its suspended state with foam gases from furnace and preliminary purified from dust. Dust is cooled and removed from circulation. Aluminium hydroxide is calcined, obtained alumina is cooled, dust is cooled together with alumina. Invention ensures to increase device output by 15-20%.
