FIELD: electronic circuits. SUBSTANCE: goal of invention is achieved by introduced two input amplitude discriminators O1, O2 with constant but different thresholds U1, U2, as well as by introduced circuit for automatic compensation which generates precise time reference for firing input amplitude discriminators at leading edge of each input pulse. Automatic compensation circuit has two grounded power supplies U3, U4, each of which is connected to parallel circuit of capacitor C1 (C2) and resistor R1 (R2) using switch S1 (S2) which is controlled by input discriminator. Second terminals of resistor and capacitor are grounded. In addition device has amplitude discriminator O3, which two inputs are connected to potential terminals of capacitors C1 and C2. Firing of output amplitude discriminator O3 is independent from amplitude and leading edge of monotonously increasing input signal, if condition U2/U1=(C2 R2) / (C1 R1) holds for RC circuits or condition U2/U1= (C2/I2) / (C1/I1) holds true if power supplies are used instead of resistors. If threshold U1 (U2) is less than threshold U2 (U1), then voltage U3 (U4) should be greater than voltage U4 (U3) to trigger operations of circuit. EFFECT: possibility to measure picosecond pulses and input pulses of alternating shape. 1 dwg
