FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making vitrectomy, removing fibrous membranes. Laser coagulation of areas is carried out where their adhesion to retina takes place. The membranes are removed (separated and excised) in surrounding medium of perfluororganic substance. Laser coagulation is carried out during the operation and 2-3 days later. EFFECT: hard membranes dissection with minimum risk for retina to be injured; anatomical and functional restoration of the retina.
