FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, manufacture of metal articles between two rotating cylinders. SUBSTANCE: device has two cylinders 1 and 2 rotating in opposite directions and having parallel axes. Cylinders are adjacent to each other with some clearance between them. Pressed to end faces of these cylinders are two side walls 5a to confine casting space 3 between these cylinders. Drum 14 has fasteners 16a, 16b and 16c for securing at least two side walls 5 in positions mutually transforming into each other due to drum turning through some angle. Means for step motion of drum with amplitude corresponding to a definite angle of turn allows repositioning of changeable side wall 5b from waiting position to working position which is occupied by side wall 5a subject to replacement. It makes possible to reduce time for restoration of serviceability of casting machine and to increase its output due to its continuous functioning. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 10 cl, 7 dwg
