SUBSTANCE: device has nonlinear resistors assembled into column and mounted in insulating enclosure made of thermosetting material. Insulating member placed between inner surface of enclosure and column fills up gap between them. Insulating member is made of material containing in its composition ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer. Insulating member material has better adhesion to enclosure surface than to resistor column surface. .
