FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has alignment roller with friction coating, pneumatic drive, moving material edge tracing unit and pneumatic drive control unit. Alignment roller is driven by belt drive with gear ratio adjusted by means of one of pulleys consisting of two semi-pulleys one of which is fixed on alignment roller shaft and the other is installed on this shaft for axial displacement at changing of center-to- center distance between axles of belt drive pulleys by means of pneumatic drive to provide tilting of axle of rotation of alignment roller in vertical plane. EFFECT: reduced deformation of material in process of alignment by edge. 3 dwg
