FIELD: drives for transport facilities, ships, flying vehicles and other mechanical devices. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine is used in plant as primary source of rotation energy. Electric motor is used as secondary source of rotation energy for drive of transport facility. Provision is made for its operation in generator mode and driving of rear differential gear by means of controllable clutch unit. Clutch unit is also used for control of transmission of energy from internal combustion engine to rear differential gear and rotation energy generated by electric motor from rear differential gear to front wheels. Central control unit is used for control of electric motor operation in mode of motor or generator or disconnection; it is also used for control of clutch unit operation when it is connected to circuit in the following modes: internal combustion engine is used for simultaneous drive of front wheels and rear differential gear, electric motor and internal combustion engine drive simultaneously front wheels and rear wheels; electric motor alone drives front wheels and rear differential gear. When clutch unit is disengaged, central control unit controls operation of internal combustion engine when it drives front wheels or when electric motor drives rear differential gear only.
