SUBSTANCE: this invention is related to the power system using a diesel generator or common network with alternating current source. In particular, the power system has characteristics, which limit its maximum output current by electromagnetic effects and/or output direct or almost direct current is set lower than the maximum output current to supply the load and to charge the accumulator battery or to supply the load together with the accumulator battery; when the installed diesel generator is used as a power supply source in process of its operation the engine operates with better specific consumption of fuel at braking and/or with better range of rotation frequency and running torque for better energy saving.

EFFECT: improved energy saving of the system.
