FIELD: environmental control in all industries. SUBSTANCE: device (ionizator) used to eliminate unburned fuel residue and toxic products of incomplete combustion emitted from exhaust and furnace gases has one or more reactors installed in tandem along gas flow; each reactor has at least one gas discharge chamber with combined electrodes whose metal portion is made in the form of separate sections isolated from each other by dielectric material. Gas discharge chambers are installed along gas flow and their sectionalized electrodes form set of capacitors connected to ac power generator through individual current limiters which are, essentially, also capacitors. EFFECT: improved degree of gas cleaning, improved reliability and service life of device, reduced power requirement. 13 cl, 4 dwg
