SUBSTANCE: present invention describes milbemycin 5-oxime derivatives of formula I: wherein R₁ is methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl or sec.butyl; X is carbonyl or methylene; Z is =C=(R²)₂ or =C=(CH₂)_n; R² is C_1-3 alkyl, and n is 0 or 1; R⁴-C(O)-N(R⁵)- (iii) is R⁶(R⁷)N-C(Y)-N(R⁵)- (iv), alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkoxyl, alkoxyalkoxyl; groups of formula III , IV , V R⁸SO₂-N(R⁵)- (vii), VI R⁹O-C(O)-N(R⁵)- (viii), VII R³-, VIII NO₂, NH₂; R⁴ is C_1-6 alkyl, substituted C_1-6 alkyl, substituted by alkyl C_3-6; C_2-6 alkenyl, C_2-6 alkynyl, cabocyclic C_6-1 aryl group optionally substituted by halogen, OH, CN, NO₂, C_1-4 alkyl, C_1-4 alkoxy, C_2-5 alkoxycarbonyl (other definitions are recited in claim 1) or salts thereof.
