FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: fields between adjacent electrodes are measured in four- chamber resonators with use of perturbations. Perturbing dielectric body simultaneously touching two adjacent electrodes is attached to short filament passing along diagonal through upper and lower squares perpendicular to axis of resonator. Lateral filament with body is set in motion with aid of two longitudinal filaments placed around periphery of resonator. Elimination of effects of longitudinal filaments on measurement results is achieved as filaments are located outside gaps around periphery of resonator where there are practically no electric fields.
