SUBSTANCE: method of changing the aerodynamic characteristics of gliding-type parachute is based on tension and slackening of flexible elements of parachute whose canopy is made from wings located one above other in way of flight and connected together. Profiled channel is formed between these wings. For changing the aerodynamic characteristics, wings are shifted and/or turned relative to each other.
