Mouth is formed between first and second winding rollers into which winding cores are successively fitted-in. feeder is designed for driving cores into mouth. Control device is designed to change parameters of winding at each driving of new core. Machine has pickup connected with mouth which checks passage of core through preset point and puts out signal indicating the fact of core passage. Cyclic change of winding parameters is matched in phase with above-indicated signal which prevents slipping of core relative to material and winding roller.
