SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting tendon of adducting muscle driving the first toe and having pieces of plantar aponeurosis and a piece of deep fascia of the internal surface of the first metatarsal bone for creating ligament. The ligament is conducted over the anterior surface of the first metatarsal bone inward and through the created transverse canal in the upper semicircle of the first metatarsal bone in the reverse direction and fixed. After removing osteocartilaginous exostosis of the metatarsal bone, tendon of adducting muscle driving the first toe is transected and the so obtained tendon ends are fixed. Hammer-shaped deformity of the second and the third toes is removed. EFFECT: lower risk of traumatic complications to arise.
