FIELD: medicine; surgical instruments. SUBSTANCE: device has two spring blades with operating jaws. It is provided with mechanism which limits fixed initial space between jaws. Mechanism is formed due to the fact that each blade consists of hinge-connected driving and driven parts. Driving part has groove, and driven part has projection with stop which limits driven part turn. Device also includes mechanism fixing jaws in operating position. This mechanism is provided on internal surfaces of blades in the form of hook-catch on one blade and fixing projection on the other for engagement of hook with projection. Fixing position of hook is ensured by flat springy plates or, for example, by round springy rod engaging the hook boss. Hook is mounted for changing its direction from transverse to longitudinal ones relative to instrument axis due to turning around axle positioned in its boss. As a result, tactile properties of instrument are improved, thereby enhancing operation efficiency. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of instrument. 5 dwg
