FIELD: transfusion medicine. SUBSTANCE: donor's blood for obtaining thrombocyte concentrate is stored in gas-permeable tripled plastic containers which guarantee access of oxygen to thrombocytes. Containers represent single closed system with anticoagulant poured preliminarily. Centrifuging is performed on low-speed refrigerating centrifuge providing for qualitative separation and increase of thrombocyte concentration up to 60×109 cells in 50-60 ml of plasma. EFFECT: higher quality of concentrate, enhanced efficiency and improved labor conditions. 4 dwg, 3 tbl
