FIELD: metallurgy, more specifically, tuyeres for complete burning of combustible gases liberating from melt in bath of metallurgical units designed for direct liquid-phase reduction of iron-ore raw materials and also in electric-arc steel-melting furnaces with use of iron-rich pellets and other metallurgical units. SUBSTANCE: tuyere has circular nozzle with cylindrical part provided with cylindrical core and swirler. Nozzle is made in the form of diffuser with opening angle at outlet within 70-180 deg. Mushroom expansion is made on lower end of core. Gap is made between diffuser surface and mushroom expansion. Diameter of core cylindrical part equals 0.5-0.9 of inner diameter of nozzle cylindrical part. Outer diameter of mushroom expansion amounts to 0.8-0.9 of diffuser outer diameter. Curvature radius of surface of mushroom expansion R = r+E, where r is diffuser curvature radius; E is gap between cylindrical parts of diffuser and core. Centers of curvature of diffuser and mushroom expansion on core are located on the same straight line. Center of mushroom expansion curvature located above center of diffuser curvature at distance l.A lmin = h; lmax = 0.96E where h= ε[1-(D+d)/2(D+2r)]; D is diameter of internal cylindrical parts of diffuser; d is diameter of core cylindrical part. EFFECT: increased efficiency of complete burning of combustible gases in metallurgical unit and higher stability of tuyere for complete burning of combustible gases. 5 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
