SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of 11β--benzaldoxime-estra-4,9-diene of the general formula (I): β where Z means -CO-, -CO-O-CH₃, CO-NH-phenyl, -CO-NH-C₂H₅, -CO-C₂H₅, C₂H₅ or -CO-phenyl and also to a method of their synthesis by esterification of the corresponding 11-CH₃-benzaldoxime-estra-4,9-diene-3-one to ester or ether. A pharmaceutical composition containing compounds (I) shows the strong antigestagenic activity but its glucocorticoid activity is insignificant.
