FIELD: milk industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparing lactose aqueous solution having lactose concentration of 10-40% at 70-100 C. Hot solution is subjected to electrolytic activation to attain pH of 11.5-12.5. Lactose solution is subjected to isomerization at 70-100 C, isomerized solution is condensed, lactose is crystallized, and lactose crystals are separated from lactulose syrup.
