SUBSTANCE: method involves forming product by extruding it into packaging material while imparting it shape close to cylindrical; cutting product into blocks of predetermined length; feeding continuous flow of butter blocks into refrigerating unit for freezing treatment while maintaining predetermined temperature and air flow rate; providing group treatment of predetermined number of frozen butter blocks prior to feeding for storage.
