SUBSTANCE: new pyridazinone derivatives of formula I: R² wherein X is hydrogen atom, lower alkoxy group, or halogen atom; Y is single bond and oxygen atom; A is alkylene group having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms; B and R² each represents: B is carbonyl group; and R² is lower alkenyl group, peridyl group which is substituted by lower alkyl group or amino group, pyrrolyl group, pyrazinyl group, indolyl group, isooxazolyl group which is substituted by lower alkyl group; B is sulfonyl group, and R¹ is alkyl group having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms or lower alkylene group; R³ is hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group; R⁴ is hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group; and R⁵ is hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group, and is hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group or pharmaceutically acceptable salts have activity in treating nephritis and/or activity in protecting from endotoxin shock.
