FIELD: rocket and space technology. SUBSTANCE: steering machine has body, power mechanism with output shaft. Body houses three- gear pump with hollow shafts of driven gears and control device in the form of electromechanical converter and rocker made fast to shaft. Rocker carries plungers which are located in hollow shafts of driven gears f pump. Rocker is provided with balancing unit placed in symmetry to plane passing through rotation axis of rocker and axis of driving gear of pump. Process of assembly of steering machine includes filling of body with working fluid, setting of three-gear pump in rotation, supply of controlling signal to electromechanical converter, measurement of speed of output shaft of power mechanism and its adjustment by movement of plungers relative to rocker. Control device is balanced with reference to symmetry plane of rocker before body is filled with fluid. Then control device is installed in body matching symmetry plane of rocker to plane passing through rotation axis of rocker and axis of driving gear of pump in absence of controlling signal across electromechanical converter.
