FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering, particularly to control devices. The proposed steering assembly incorporates a three-gear pump, a relay and a control crank with two plungers. The pump hollow drive gears are furnished with radial holes communicating with the drive mechanism. Note that every plunger consists of a slide valve fitted in the pump driven gear hollows shaft and linked with the help of a wire with the rod fitted in the control crank hole and provided with outer thread with the first locking device. Note also that the control crank holes house axially locked bearings. Mind that every aforesaid rod is fitted in the bearing hole and furnished with the second locking device arranged on the rod on the side of bearing opposite to the first locking device. Arrangement of the plunger rod in the bearing allows the plunger to revolve but at a smaller rate than that of the pump driven gear shaft. This is possible due to friction forces in the bearing, hydrodynamic forces acting on the plunger and radial component of the wire con-rod bending force.
EFFECT: preservation of steering assembly sensitivity due to reduction of dry friction, increased damping of control crank with plungers relative to pump driven gears with unchanged hydrodynamic forces acting on plungers.
