FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plasma torch for production of powdered materials. The plasma torch is comprised of a nozzle and a unit for introduction of the sprayed material into the plasma flow. The plasma torch is made with a sectioned interelectrode insert. The unit for introduction of the sprayed material is made in form of channels for introduction of the sprayed material located symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the plasma torch and at the same distance from each other, in form of shafts or rods, the output ends whereof are located in the plasma channel of the plasma torch, configured for the ends of the sprayed material to be placed in the output part of the plasma torch nozzle. The angle α between the projections of the input channels on the plane perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the plasma torch is 360°/n, wherein n is the number of the channels for introduction of the sprayed material. The angle β between the axis of symmetry of the plasma torch and the longitudinal axis of the channel for introduction of the sprayed material is from 45 to 90°.
EFFECT: production of a narrow fractional composition of powder materials of high quality is ensured.
