FIELD: selection of places suitable for location of ethnically homogeneous groups of people, specific etnos, to save men, technical and financial resources when bringing new territories for their population. SUBSTANCE: such factors as flooding, geologic-lythologic, pedological, hydrogeological, geomorphological, geodynamic, geophysical, geochemical, climatic, seismic are determined in places of stable and favorable living of etnos. Factors important for this etnos are selected. These factors in place of suggested location are found and compared with factors of its stable and favorable living. Position of urban system is determined by results of comparison. EFFECT: saving of men, technical and financial resources when bringing new territories for living.
